            <title>How can libraries and reading be more active partners in delivering community engagement and empowerment? </title>
            <description><![CDATA[<p>The conference we ran in partnership with the Local Government Association picked up on the government's White Paper <em>Strong and Prosperous Communities</em>. This sets out the government's ideas on how local people can have more of a say in how their communities are run. We debated the role of libraries - what can they offer, how they can promote this agenda. We'd like to hear your thoughts. </p>
