We launched the Six Book Challenge in 2008 in association with Costa as a great way to get people into a reading habit. If they read six books and fill in a reading diary they are given a certificate. And they have the chance to enter a prize draw on offer from Costa - an expenses-paid trip to London for the winner and guest.
Around 7000 people have taken part in 2008 through libraries, colleges, adult learning and workplaces. More than 150 organisations have already signed up for 2009.
The main activity for the Six Book Challenge 2009 will take place from January to June but it can be run at any time.
